71.2% growth rate of China as Argentina wine export market

The data provided by Wines of Argentina based on a report from Caucasia Wine Thinking, shows that China is one of the most important, emerging markets, standing out by 71.2% (in dollars) year-on-year growth rate.

According to the data, 75% of growth in bottled wine of Argentina is concentrated in three markets: the US, Canada and Brazil.

Ángel Vespa, the president of Bodegas de Argentina has spoken about China as one of emerging market. "We should start joining efforts to introduce wine consumption in these destinations. There are other countries that abound with resources to fulfill this goal. We should be smart enough to join in this process with our available resources."
