China "earned" 6 billion yuan by wine business in the first half of 2007

According the statistics from a website, the total output of Chinese wine was 220 thousand kiloliters in the first half of this year, up 17.1% over the same period of last year and the total industrial output was nearly 6 billion yuan, a rise of 26.6% compared with the same period of last year. In addition, China "earned" more than 6 billion yuan by main business of wine, up 28.7% over the same period of last year.


 


At present, there are 7 key wine producers in China, accounting for 58.6% of the total output of wine industry. Their income amount to 64.9% of the gross income of wine industry. And pre-tax profits account for 83.4%.
