The 15th Annual Rhode Island Spring Flower & Garden Show, which runs from February 21-24, 2008, will add a new twist to an already colorful program with its first-ever New England Wine Expo.  This year, while the flowers are blooming, event attendees can sample 125 wines from around the world on February 22, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Rhode Island Convention Center's Rotunda area.

Guests at the New England Wine Expo can taste both classic and contemporary wines featured by Mark Gasbarro of Gasbarro's Wines, Providence.  Wine from Antinori, Shafer Vineyards, Feudi di San Gregorio, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and Pahlmeyer will all be part of the selection.  The event, which requires reservations, will benefit the Rhode Island Horticultural Society and will feature a Silent Auction for all wine connoisseurs in attendance.
