When HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine Expo makes its debut in August 2008, Hong Kong will move into a key position as a trading platform for fine wines in Asia. For wine producers and traders, this is the Open Sesame to Asian markets of huge promise, especially in the Chinese mainland. All the stars are in alignment for the creation of a fine wine trading and distribution hub in Asia and where better than Hong Kong.

Exhibitors can meet trade buyers, importers, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, brokers, hotels, restaurants and catering companies, with particular emphasis on the Chinese mainland and Asian markets. As well as creating a professional environment for negotiations, the fair is the place for interaction with the global industry and updating market knowledge.

Wine Expo will open its doors to the public on the last day of the fair. This will give exhibitors a rare opportunity to gain direct feedback from a broad cross-section of the public as well as raising consumer awareness of their brands.
