The statistics show that English consumers are fond of consuming French champagne at all times. In 2007, English people consumed about 38.97 million bottles. The top ten consuming markets of champagne are England, America, German, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Holand, Japan and Australia. The EU countries except France consumed 91.4 million bottles of champagne, accouting for 61% of exports, up 9% over that of 2006. |
