Yesterday, Vinexpo released a result of investigation at the 2008 Spring Wine Fair (Guangzhou Stop). The investigation showed that China would be the country that had a fastest growth of wine consumption with the anual increasing rate of 35.91%.

It's said that about 450 varieties of wines were showed to visitors at the fair. They were from 10 famous wine producing countries including France, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, South Africa, Argentina and so on. Their prices ranged from tens of yuan to 7000 yuan.

The related seller said that imported wine had penetrated people's lives. In 2007, one of their stores sold wines in a month by the value of 1.8 million yuan.
