19 Spanish wineries took part in the SIAL Shanghai. The related Spanish department organized all kinds of wine-tasting activities. Wine connoisseurs selected representative Spanish wines to taste. At the wine-tasting activity, Spanish wine experts answered visitors' questions.

Spain was the a big wine producing contry. Its output was in the third place in the world. The imports of Spanish wines for China was ever in the second place. However, Australian, Italian and other countries' governments paid more attention to Chinese market. They further spread their wines in China. Therefore, China's imports for these countries' wines exceeded that of Spain. Spain had disadvantage on this aspect and Spanish government noticed it and began to pay serious attention to it. So they promoted their wines in Chinese wine-tasting events in these two years.
