2007 Hong Kong's datum of wine imports and exports

According to the datum from Hong Kong Trade Development Council, in 2007, HK's imports of wine were 4.58billion dollars and exports were 3.442 billion dollars. Re-exported wine were 3.426 billion dollars.


The top ten countries of re-exporting wine were from Asia. A great deal of entrepot trade laid the foundation for HK to be the wine distribution hub in the world.


In addition, HK abolished the taxes of wine and beer so that it cut down the costs of wine selling, re-exporting and auction. HK's professional establishment of logistic distribution and rich experiences of store and sell offered the good conditions for wine trade.
