Recently, it's the first timie for Zhangjiagang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to detect a batch of half-dry wines which were labelled to be dry wines.

In April, Zhangjiagang imported a batch of wines (3000 bottles, 2250 liters) from Australia. The sample of this batch of wines was labelled to be dry wines. However, Zhangjiagang Inspection and Quarantine Organization's testing result showed that this batch of wines were half-dry wines.

It's said that dry wines are more dear than half-dry wines. Their producing technics and costs are very different. The inspection and quarantine department advised that wine imported company and distributors learn and pay more attentions to the related rules of new standard of wine.
