The International Ice Wine Festival was open in Jinan, Shandong. The themes of the festival were to spead wine culture and sparkplugged ideas of health and fashion. Hundreds of ice wines of main ice wine countries from all over the world were shown in the festival.


It's said that ice wine was found firstly in German in 1794. Ice wine was considered as fine wine because of its rareness and rich nutrition. At the festival, wine experts introduced the origin, brewing technic and tasting of ice wine. The related department held wine-tasting activities in order to let consumers know more wine-tasting knowledge, characteristics of countries and wine histories and cultures of countries.
