Yunnan cooperated with Australia to build an international wine city in China

Yesterday, Yunnan Chuxiong Yizu Zizhizhou signed a contract with Australia Yuefeng Investment Bank that built a Chinese Southwest international wine city. Chuxiong wine industry further developed.


A 5-year project was invested 1.28 billion dollars. The content of the project included a 600-thousand mu. grape-base, 450 thousand annual products, 28 international wine chateaux and 18 international advanced wineries. It's predicted that Chuxiong's annual industrial value would be 30 billion yuan and 4.5 billion yuan new taxes would be added as well as 3 billion yuan earning of grape planting would be gained.


Chuxiong focused on the project of China Southwest International Wine City which was the integration of wine torism, wine culture, city brand, city image and tourism culture. The project will improve the adjustment of agricultural structure and the development of industry, develop cyclic economy, increase farmers' incomes and so on.
