2008 Vinitech Vinalies China was successfully held in Penglai, Shandong

From June 29 to July 1, 2008 Vinitech Vinalies China was successfully held in Penglai, Shandong.


The president of Vinitech Marc Lecoq, the mayor of Penglai Zhang Dailing and other leaders took part in the opening ceremony.



More than 400 professionals of winegrowing industry from all over the world participated in Vinitech China and Mondiaviti International Technical Forum. The forum aimed to let vinegrowers and wineries know more about the experts' knowledge achievement.In addition, 40 exhibitors showed their new products to the major users and dealers of Central Europe. Exhibitors could consolidate their position in China by Vinitech China.



Vinalies China Competition was an international wine-tasting competition which was set up in 1993. It's the second time for it to be held with Vinitech in China. During the three days, 15 international judges from different countries tasted 269 varieties of sample wines. There were 6 judges from Chinese wineries.



The competition's wines (252 varieties ) and spirits (17 varieties ) were from 13 countries, including France, China, Australia, Spain, Italy, Argentina, German, Canada, Tunis, Portugal, Czechic, Switzerland and Israel. There were 19 golden medals and 67 silver medals in the competition. The awards ceremony was held in the closure of Vinitech China. 80 varieties of Chinese wines took part in the competition. Four of them were awarded golden medals and 17 silver medals. China seized the second place in the competition and France was the champion with 13 golden medals and 33 silver medals.
