Macau.com (www.macau.com), an online destination marketing and travel company in Macau has been appointed official online travel agency for the Wine & Gourmet Asia 2008, which is scheduled to take place at the Venetian from November 5 to 7.

Last year's Wine & Gourmet Asia 2007 expo was the first specialised F&B event to take place in Macau, with over 140 exhibitors from 23 countries participating. Top chefs, sommeliers and winemakers were present to showcase the cuisine and beverages from their respective regions.

As Wine & Gourmet Asia's official travel agency, Macau.com is offering participants and exhibitors exclusive customised packages for the best hotels and attractions in Macau at discounted rates, providing selected travel and exhibition information.
"Food and wine are an important part of every tourist's visit to Macau, and we are proud to be a part of a project that promotes Macau's unique cuisine and wine," said Christina Siaw, CEO of Macau.com, adding "we will ensure that the participants and exhibitors sample the best Macau has to offer in terms of not only dining and attractions, but also world-class hotels and casinos."

Michael Dreyer, Asia Pacific Vice President of Koelnmesse - the organiser of Wine & Gourmet Asia added that "by partnering Macau.com to look after travel arrangements, we can be sure that our participants will be able to focus on networking, dining and enjoying all that Wine & Gourmet Asia has to offer."
