HK Financial Secretary visited Australian Chateau

It's reported that HK Financial Secretary Zeng Junhua took part in the APEC meeting in Australia and visited three chateaux.


The principal of the chateaux targeted HK and Chinese Mainland markets. They planed to organized groups to promote Australian wines in HK in order to enlarge the business scope in HK and Chinese Mainland markets.


Zeng Junhua said that Asian population accounted for a half of the world's population, but its consumption of table wines was only 7% in the world. Therefore, he also considered that Asia, especially Chinese Mainland was a potential market for table wines.Australia was the second supplier of HK. It will promote Australian table wines in HK and exploit Chinese Mainland market.
