The second Yantai International Quality Competition was successfully held in Yantai International Expo Center.

The competition was held by Yantai Organizing Committee of International Festival. There were about 70 samples of wines from about 30 foreign and domestic wine enterprises, dealers or agents. Domestic wines were mainly from Yantai, Gansu, Hebei and other areas. And the foreign wines were mainly from France, German, Portugal, SA, Austria and other countries. The samples included Dry Red, Dry White, Brandy, ice wine and so on.

The jury was composed by state-level wine connoisseurs and representatives of liquor enterprises. The jury tasted sample wines blindingly under OIV Standard. They gave scores according to the samples' appearances, aromas and tastes. At last, special award, first prize, second prize and third prize were selected.
