Mozambique: China's Ten Wine builds real estate complex in Manica

Chinese company Ten Wine plans to build a real estate complex in the Mozambican city of Manica, in the province of the same name, costing some US$20 million.

The project's first stone was placed by the governor of Manica, Maurício Vieira, who noted the "excellent relationship" between Mozambique and China.

According to Mozambique's Centre for Investment Promotion (CPI), this is a unique project for the province.

As well as having offices, houses, shops and a hypermarket, the project will also include construction of a hotel.

Construction work on the project is due to take four years.

China is particularly involved, amongst other countries, in Mozambique's construction sector.
