www.wines-info.com by Wing 2009-03-11

The financial crisis accelerated the global allocation of resources. Bernard Peillon, the global CEO of Hennessy which is the NO.1 selling in the world said to Guangzhou media that it’s the first time for China to become the biggest consumer market of Hennessy in the world last year. Especially, Guangdong market was outstanding.

Bernard Peillon concluded with an optimistic predication of China's high-end foreign wine consumer market. He said that the selling profit of Hennessy kept some growth in the stability. Especially, there was a historical breakthrough in China market.

As the biggest and most potential developing country in the world, the annual growth rate of China's luxury goods consumption was about 30%. The consumption of China's generalized luxury goods accounted for about 15% of global sales. Bernard Peillon said that China was the place contested by strategic countries. In order to increase input in China market, he brought the new wines (Global selected collection: Hennessy X.0 Iridescence) to China. China played an important role in Hennessy's development in the future.
