30 brands of France, America, Australia and other countries were selected in "Top Brand" of SIAL (le Salon International de l'Agroalimentaire International). What the surprising was Changyu, China's earliest dry red wine brand was the sole representative of Asia.

YvesBenard, the president of Alcohol Experts Committee (Institut National des Appellations d'Origine) was the master of a panel of expert judges of this competition. He said that they attached importance to capacity of value creation. Therefore, the histories of brands were one of the investigating factors.

As China's earliest dry red wine brand, Changyu was one of few national brands. The wine expert, Chen Zhuang said that fine wines must undergo the test of time. The top-grade wines of Europe usually had histories of more than 100 years. He considered that Changyu had a history of 70 years for grope and inheritance. Changyu had its own key technologies of recognition of soil and varietals' characteristics and brewing techniques.

SIAL penal of expert judges said that the top brand wine products must have their own styles and tastes. Changyu was selected in 453 varieties of wines from 17 countries. Changyu conquered the judges by its mysterious oriental style.

Changyu just spent one year entering European market successfully. SIAL expert judges looked at Changyu with new eyes. In view of Changyu's success on international market, SIAL decided to select it to be one of 30 Top Brand of Global wine.
