According to the statistics, HK sold 8.5 million bottles of wines in 2008, up 26%. The sales of wines were 490 million Hong Kong dollars, nearly a half of that of beer. The prices of wines averagely decreased 7%. Especially, top grade wines' prices decreased 22%. Australia and France were the biggest suppliers. The sales of New Zealand and Chilean wines increased dramatically.
