www.wines-info.com by 2009-05-27

In May 21, "Southern France" Wine Culture Center was opened with an inaugural ceremony in Wenzhou. Catherine Machabert, the representative of International Economic Development Bureau of Southern France attended the ceremony.

In 2006, "Southern France" brands were available in Languedoc-Roussillon, China, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Mexico and other world markets. In 2007, it was introduced in European markets. In 2008, it promoted their products in England and Europe.

Languedoc-Roussillon is the biggest production area of wine and farm produce. It established the long-term partnership with China in fields of economy, tourism, technology and culture. Catherine Machabert said that Languedoc-Roussillon targeted Wenzhou because Wenzhou's economic development was very active in China. They set up "Southern France" Wine Promotion Center in Chateau Marco so that Wenzhou had a platform to show art of life and consumer goods of Southern France.
