Food China 2009 will be held in Shanghai tomorrow

China's premier food, wine and hospitality exhibition, returns to Shanghai for the 13th edition from 18-20 November 2009 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. FHC specializes on international companies and their importers supplying to the China market and this year has attracted more country pavilions than ever before. In total, 825 companies for 60 countries and regions including 27 National pavilions will participate. A record 14 country groups are new to FHC this year. 

"It has been an amazing year for FHC" says Brendan Jennings General Manager for show organiser China International Exhibitions. "We have had more bookings to participate in the exhibition than ever before”. "FHC China first took place in Beijing in 1994 and every year the show grows in size as demand increases for foreign foods". "The record 14 new country groups joining the show this year offers visitors an even greater range of products to see and taste, than ever before". "Clearly these countries recognize an opportunity and are eager to promote their nation's unique food and beverages to the burgeoning Chinese consumer and hospitality market".

FHC China exhibitors, will show the complete range of food and drink products and hospitality equipment. Products include fresh fruit and vegetables from Taiwan; canned and preserved food from Thailand; meat from Argentina; chicken from Brazil; seafood from Chile; Olive oil from Spain; wines from France; cheese and pasta from Italy; dairy products from Germany; chocolates from Belgium; fast food from USA; snack food from Korea; specialist Japanese food and beverages; spices from Turkey and unique products from 46 other countries and regions in the show. For hospitality equipment, visitors will see hospitality furniture; kitchen equipment; chinaware and glasses from some of the world’s top suppliers.

FHC is an all encompassing food and beverage show. New this year, are three specialist events, namely Meat China, Tea & Coffee China and Wine & Spirits China. Each event has its own dedicated zone of companies within the exhibition and focused industry seminars, competitions and events for their industry.

Wine & Spirits China
Sommeliers, importers and wine lovers will be the first to know the results of the China Sommeliers Wine Challenge and may join the Gold Card Wine Day on 18th November. Attend corporate wine tasting seminars and gain certificates from the Asian Wine Institute at the Sommelier Tutorials in the Wine Theatre in hall 2.

FHC China 2009 is open to trade visitors only from 18-20 November 2009 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Opening Hours  09:30-17:00 on 18th and 19th November 2009
09:30- 16:00 on 20th November 2009.
