The World's Largest Bottle Of Wine
www.popfi.com by 2010-01-29

Have you ever wondered what it'd be like to be a really tiny person?  Well, wonder no more, because the vineyards of Wang Chen Wines have made the world's largest bottle of red wine.  Stand next to that, and you'll know what it feels like to be as tall as a coffee cup!  The bottle stands an impressive 15 feet high and holds approximately 1850 liters of red wine.  Or it did, before the employees started celebrating with glasses of vino.

A company spokesman said, "We are very proud, and the wine is very good.  We have all had a glass from the bottle to celebrate."  It's not like they don't have enough to go around once the party starts!

That's one good thing about this "world's largest" food item; it's actually drinkable unlike most of the giant novelty foods that get made.  I imagine they could sell that wine to collectors and make good money after rebottling it in more easily-shipped containers.  I know I'd want to try it.
