China's wine exports were about 5.6 million dollars in 2009

According to the statistics from Maritime Customs Administration, not including HK, Macao and Taiwan, China totally exported 1400815 liters wines,equaling to 1867753 bottles of wine(750 ml/bottle) in 2009. Bottled wines (less than 2 liters per bottle) were 1131951 liters. And bottled wines(more than 2 liters per bottle) were 268864 liters. The total value of exported wines was 5625189 U.S.dollars.

The statisitcs showed that wine exports just accounted for 1.27% of wine imports in China. And most of Chinese enterprises mainly exported bottled wines.

In addition, the exports of brandy were 1241623 liters in volume and 26302593 U.S.dollars by value in 2009. It far exceeded the total value of wine exports.
