Irregular Behaviors Restrict the Wine Development
wushuxian.com by susan 2005-6-6 11:57:00

The illegal dealings of entering commition and promoting tips in the marketplace and the restaurants, which arouse the common anger among the wineries and the wine merchants, though have been revealed by the media for many times, have not yet been in the appropriate solution.  And the consumers still suffer a lot.

At present, the price differences in the process of wine sales are several times or even more.  Suppose a wine merchant intends to sell his products, he has no alternative choice unless he sets up shop for selling himself or he had to wait for the days when Chinese wine industry develops regularly.

As for wine, the expenditure on marketing, on which wine merchants have to spend, makes the maximum in the total cost. Consequently, most of the enterprises pay much more attention in the marketing, while neglecting the development and quality of the products.  In the long run, it will surely restrict the sound development of Chinese wine industry.

Among the present illegal business dealings, Chinese wine composes of the most, and the market share of the international import wine is relatively small.  Thus it makes the fatal strike for the Chinese wine producers.  Under the circumstance of the increasingly mature consumers and the more and more lower custom tariff, the competition between Chinese wine and import wine lies in the quality.  If Chinese wine is inferior, the above mentioned illegal business bribery makes the chief criminal.

So I do hope Chinese government should take some effective measures to protect the sound development of wine industry.  Firstly, wine quality classification must be made.  Secondly, punish severely the illegal business bribery in the wine selling process.  Last but not the least is to protect the benefit of the consumers, who are the very resources of economic development!
