www.wines-info.com by Lily HE 2006-11-27 16:12:47

In the Vinitaly & CIBUS China 2006, wine exhibition area is twice as expansive as that of last year, up to 7,000 square meters. Number of attending wineries is much more than that last year’s 160.

As Vinitaly & CIBUS China has been held in Shanghai successfully for eight times, with large capacity to consume top graded wines, Shanghai has been a sharp increasing wine consumption city in China and called as a criterion to judge China wine market for many foreign wineries. Its annual turnover is up to 50,000 tons this year, increasing 25% than that of last year. Wine consumption increase rate is the highest of all beverage varieties.
