According to FEVS's Statistic, the exportation sales of French wine and spirits was high at Euro 8 billion, and marked new history.  Since it studied Chinese wine market and found its potential, in recent years, France took China as its big importer and cooperator in wine.

China is on its way to becoming the world's fastest-growing wine market with growth in consumption far outstripping global rates, a recent study says.

China, ranked as the world's 10th-largest light wine consuming nation in 2005, will drink 558 million litres in 2010, according to the study commissioned by France-based wine trade show organizers Vinexpo.

That represents growth of 36 per cent over 2005 levels, compared to expected world growth of 4.8 per cent, it said.

Chinese consumption grew from 335 million litres in 2001 to 410 million litres in 2005, putting the economically booming country on course to overtake Romania as the world's ninth-largest wine market by 2010, it said.

Now, French wine industry supported Chinese people to improve their consumption on wine eagerly so that to boost its exportation to China. They have established many styles of cooperation on wine in China.
